Training for tourism sector representatives within the framework of the EBRD ICHF project

Within the framework of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) project, Sherikkon Consulting LLC conducted a series of trainings on business planning for entrepreneurs in the tourism sector: hoteliers, restaurateurs, souvenir sellers, travel agencies and guides. The project aims to train small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Khorezm region and Karakalpakstan from September to December 2020. The trainings were designed to help local tourism SMEs build their resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company trained 58 SME business owners and managers in business planning and developing competitive tourism products. During the training, entrepreneurs learned about tools such as value proposition, creating a customer profile, studying and analyzing competitors, creating additional sub-products in tourism and learned how to attract more tourists and why customer service is important in the hotel business.
